We use whole wild-caught fresh local porgies (gutted and scaled) with the heads on, a small white fish native to the east coast of the United States, for our nutrient-rich fish broth. Other ingredients include organic or local vegetables and fresh herbs (onion, carrot, thyme, bay leaves), expeller-pressed coconut oil, organic raw apple cider vinegar, organic white wine, spring water, and Himalayan pink salt.
Our fish broth is cooked for four hours in stainless steel stock pots. Once thawed, fish broth has a shelf life of five days.
