Highly nutritious, soy-free pastured chicken livers and local yellow onions are sauteed in pastured pork lard with Himalayan pink salt, a touch of brandy (gluten-free), and organic aromatic spices (black pepper, coriander, cloves, and allspice), then cooled and pureed with local pastured ghee. The high vitamin A content of the liver is balanced by the high vitamin D content of the lard which is why we use this traditional fat. Packaged in 4-oz glass jars. Once opened, flavor is best within 3 days. Keep in the fridge only 3-4 days after delivery or freeze for longer storage.
